Visit our rustic alpine hut in the middle of the Hochkönig area in Maria Alm at 950 metres altitude. In summer we are delighted to welcome all the hikers & cyclists who enjoy our snacks, regional food and pastries. In winter you will find our ski hut in the middle of the ski area, more precisely on the Schwarzeckalm descent. Of course, we are especially happy when our regular guests visit us. If you stop to take a break after making your first turns in the snow, we will spoil you with traditional hut dishes. What could be a better alternative to skiing than sledding? Skidding away down the natural toboggan runs in the immediate area makes children's eyes shine. The nearest toboggan run is a 30-minute winter hike away at Gasthof Kronreith in Maria Alm. After warming up with a hot chocolate, borrow a sled and toboggan back to the valley day or night with all the fun along the way. That is what a winter holiday in the Hochkönig region feels like!
